Why the licence is the only hard statement about these casinos

A number you find proves that an entry exists. It does not prove that the brand in front of you belongs to it. Three cases that keep coming up in practice and that this page collected while reading the registers:

- The printed number does not cover the domainIt happens that a footer carries one number while the register holds the domain under a different number and a different company. Then neither «not licensed» nor «number checked» is right. You have to look up both: the number and the domain.
- The status contradicts the date beside itAt Anjouan an entry carries «valid» while the neighbouring column shows an expiry date months in the past. Both values sit on the same screen. Read only the status column and you read half of it.
How the registers feed the score
Of the twelve possible points, four hang directly on the register: whether the number can be found, whether the status is active, and whether a registered term is about to end.
