There is a great deal you cannot know about a playing site. There are four things you can establish with certainty in a few minutes, and they cover the questions that later actually carry weight: who is the contracting party, which currency the arithmetic runs in, which version of the terms governs, and what your own ceiling is.

The four steps do not stand in that order by accident. The register check comes first, because it is the only one that can rule an address out entirely: if no number can be found, everything else is moot. The account currency follows, because it determines the largest running cost and is visible in a minute. The terms come third, because there you are looking for something specific rather than reading everything — verification clause, turnover, withdrawal. And the limit stands last, because it is the only one of the four that requires an account.
Together the four steps cost about ten minutes — considerably less than the time many readers spend comparing bonus banners, and with a result that does not come from the operator.
