Which ceilings exist

Most accounts know four settings: a ceiling for deposits per period, one for losses, one for the length of a session, and a way of closing the account for a while. They sit in the account area, often under «responsible play», and are set in a few minutes.

1. Set them before the first depositNot afterwards. A ceiling set while you are losing is not a ceiling but a reaction.

Why pace matters more than stake

One franc a round sounds like little. In a fast game with several hundred rounds an hour it is not. The figure that counts is stake times rounds — and it rises at Plinko or crash games far faster than it feels. A session clock bites where a stake ceiling achieves nothing.

When the limit is no longer enough

If ceilings are raised regularly, if play happens in order to win back what was lost, or if the playing is hidden from others, those are known warning signs. Closing an account is possible in most accounts with a few clicks and cannot be undone immediately — that too is a setting that works for the user.

Why the order counts

A limit set before the first deposit is a decision. A limit set during a session is a reaction — and reactions get taken back at the next unfavourable moment. That is why this setting stands fourth in the order on this page and not as an afterthought: check the register, look at the currency, read the terms, set the limit, then deposit. Most accounts support that order, because decreases take effect at once and increases after a delay.
