What the register contains

The catch: «valid» beside an expired date
Reading the register turns up one thing you have to have seen once: practically every entry carries the status «valid» — including entries whose registered term has already run out. Going through the register there were several hundred such rows, among them entries whose expiry date lay months in the past while «valid» stood unchanged beside them.
The practical conclusion is short: on its own, the status column carries no meaning here. The entry only becomes usable when status and term are read together — and that is why the score in this ranking takes one point off as soon as the registered term ends in fewer than sixty days.
